Timed Writing: Living Out

Within "Living Out", there are plenty of conflicts that can be discussed. However, one central conflict of interest is the working field. What I mean is that the main characters direct all of their focus on their jobs, instead of their own present lives. The characters have only just realized how their jobs are affecting the people around them.
Unfortunately for Nancy, her job has taken over her life. Her relationship with Richard has become weaker and she spends very little time with her baby. Of course her job is very important because it is the family's main source of income. However, she has almost become a stranger to her family. She missed when her baby crawled for the first time and Richard has felt lonesome without her around. Conflicts like so can lead to disagreements that may spiral out of control.
Similarly, these conflicts have been occurring with Ana and her family. Ana has solely been focused on bringing her son to America. Now, this is not bad at all. Although, her husband seems to think differently. He feels that she cares only about Thomás and not him or their son. In fact, he is biased towards his son. Anyways, Ana's doesn't seem very aware of this conflict. But I mean who could blame her, everyone knows that your children always come first no matter what.

  1. This is very good. I like how you used an introduction to introduce your topic then split up the characters into there own separate paragraphs. It made it very clear and focused and enjoyable to read :) ~KP
