Timed Writing #3

One of my favorite movies of all time is The Corpse Bride. I have watched this movie over a million times, I absolutely love it. This movie is amazing because of the way it tells the story of a nontraditional love. Also, the entire movie is captured using sculptures that look real life but cartoon at the same time, otherwise known as the classic Tim Burton look.

Within the movie, the story is told with the help of the songs. Now it's not a musical but the songs still play a big role. The songs cover just about every feeling that anyone has felt within a relationship. Now, the moral of the story is also very significant.
During the movie, the concept of putting other people's needs before your own is expressed many times. I can't go any further with the details because I may spoil the plot. However, this phrase is important because within ANY type of relationship, you have to be willing to sacrifice certain things for that person. But, that doesn't mean you should let them walk all over you. Just make sure you know each other's limits.
The final reason this movie is so stunning is because of its imagery. The characters are sculptures that look like real life people except with exaggerated features. The use of black and white shades expresses a somber tone. On the other hand, the use of bright colors helps create a lively and energetic atmosphere. The movie can be simply told just through the colors and artwork.

So to conclude, The Corpse Bride is an absolutely spectacular movie because of different ways of telling the story itself. The story is recited through the many catchy songs and by its visually unique characters. The other thing is its lesson of putting other people's needs before your own. Of course I'm going tell you that you need to watch this movie. You'll be able to understand what I stated earlier and how it relates. Now, if I haven't said it before then I'm saying it now. If you're ever unsure of what to watch, watch The Corpse Bride because it is just breathtaking.
